Description
We recommend using a camera that is at least 6MP (megapixels) or higher. The more megapixel's your camera has, the better the image!
Set your camera for the highest resolution. This is usually done under the "settings" of the menu section of your camera. If in doubt, check your manual. Be sure to use the highest possilbe setting, as it gives us more data to enlarge your image into a Phogo.
Avoid taking your photo using the “zoom” function. The closer you get to the subject without using zoom, the better your Phogo will be. When you use the zoom feature, the image loses data.
Make sure your photos are clear, sharp, and in focus.
Photos should be taken in a well-lit area, such as outside on a sunny day. Most cameras take better images in natural sunlight and produce a much richer and colorful print. Indoor images also work well, but make sure there is a good amount of light.
We also suggest a file size of 2048x1536 pixels.
Do not change the resolution of your photo. Please send us the original file.
Be careful when you are taking the picture that you do not cut off any part of the subject, like feet or arms. A white background is preferred. If grass blades are on the shoes, they may not be removable.
A Phogo can be created from almost any digital photo that you upload to the Phogos website. Each image is then professionally formatted and prepared for our graphic designers. Phogos reserves the right to not print a submitted image on the basis of content.
What file formats do you accept? .jpg and .tiff
REMEMBER...the better the image you provide us, the better your Phogo will look. If the image is blurry or out of focus, that is how it will be printed.
